The 12 Posts of Christmas #5 : Ornament Garland

December 17, 2014

Hey again! We’re just burning right through December now aren’t we? Christmas is in…. a week. Why no… I haven’t finished my shopping… or crafting…or preparing… Ha!

I am in a little bit of a time pinch today… so I’ll get right to it…

I promised a craft that included my kids… we’re real into “Shapes Collages” around here. So I put a bit of a festive spin on something that I already knew my kiddos enjoyed.

NOOOOT even totally sure if you can tell that those are supposed to be “ornaments” or not. BUT the kids are pretty excited about them. And we got to practice some shapes and colors when we made them. Also, price tag = ZERO as I already had the light up Garland left over from my wedding, the paper plates left over from the kids’ birthday party a few weeks back, and who doesn’t have an assortment of tissue paper and Mod Podge!

Obvious or not… this garland graces our eating area now… and  the kids love it! So there you have it. Essentially FREE kid’s Christmas craft!

Make sure you visit TheVeronicaBlog later and check out what she’s come up with!
